In this parish we have so much to thank the Lord for with both All Saints Church and St James Church in well maintained order.
Along with the Churches and their busy Parish Centres we also have the responsibility of looking after our existing Remembrance Garden and Graveyard surrounding the old All Saints Church.
The Friends of All Saints Churchyard is a group which works with the Kirklees Valley Parochial Church Council (PCC) for the improvement and future maintenance of the old churchyard.
Membership
Membership is open to all who would like to see the churchyard become a real asset to the community.
Working Parties
Regular working parties meet to tidy up the churchyard, cut grass and prune overgrown trees and bushes. We are seeking additional volunteers to assist in this rewarding work.
Dates
We are holding working parties during 2012 between 9.30 and 12.30 on the following Saturdays, meeting at the Ashworth Street entrance. Tools are provided but please bring own gloves.
